# Tarmac Hawk

> Tarmac Hawk ranks US aircraft owners by how likely they are to sell their plane in the next 12 months, so aircraft brokers and dealers can call owners before they list.

Tarmac Hawk is a subscription data product from Niche Hounds LLC. Each state list is the model's top-ranked owners in that state (the top 100, or the top 25 in smaller states), with a mailing address for each owner and an email where one is available. Some states omit street addresses. Lists refresh weekly or monthly, depending on the plan.

## Who it is for

- Aircraft brokers, dealers, and acquisition teams looking for off-market sellers.
- Not for consumers. The lists may not be used to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing.

## How it works

- Source data: the FAA aircraft registry and FAA airmen records, both public US government records.
- A model scores every registered owner in a state on how likely they are to sell within 12 months.
- We only sell states where our list has proven itself. In each one, our top-ranked owners sold at least 20% more often than average, two years running, and the gap held up when we checked it wasn’t luck. Other states show as "coming soon".
- Across the states currently for sale, the top lists sold at about 2.2x the state average rate in the 2025 backtest.
- More than 170,000 registered aircraft are analyzed.
- Rankings are statistical estimates from past data, not a statement that any owner is selling.
