Privacy Policy

Tarmac Hawk is run by Niche Hounds LLC (“we”). This policy covers two groups of people: the businesses that use our site, and the aircraft owners who appear in our lists.
1. Information about our customers
- Preview and notify requests: your business email and the state you asked about, plus a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address that we use only to limit repeated requests.
- Accounts: your name or company, email, plan, the states you pay for, when you sign in, and which lists you download.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
We use this to run your account, send your preview link, sign-in links, and list updates, handle billing, protect the service from abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service. We don't sell our customers' information.
2. Information about aircraft owners
Our lists rank aircraft owners by how likely they are to sell. They are built mainly from public FAA aircraft registry and airmen records, plus contact details from other sources. A list entry can include an owner's name, aircraft, city, mailing address, and email. We license these lists to aviation businesses, such as aircraft brokers and dealers, who may contact owners about buying or selling aircraft.
Subscribers agree not to use our lists to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing.
3. Removing your information
If you are an aircraft owner and want to be left off our lists, email sales@tarmachawk.com with your name and your aircraft's N-number or mailing address. Within 10 business days we remove you from all lists and downloads, and you stay off future lists. This includes requests under New Jersey's Daniel's Law. We keep a minimal record of each request so you stay removed. To stop emails from a business that contacted you, use that business's unsubscribe link or ask them directly.
4. Who we share information with
- Subscribers, who receive the owner lists described above
- Service providers that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email)
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights
5. Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
6. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is active and afterwards as long as we need it for billing, legal, and licensing records, including which lists each account downloaded. Removal requests are kept so removed owners stay off our lists.
7. Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing sales@tarmachawk.com. We respond within 30 days. We may keep what we need for legal and licensing records, and the removal record described above.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections, emailed sign-in links instead of passwords, and limited staff access. No system is completely secure.
9. Children
Tarmac Hawk is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
10. Changes and contact
